Mobile video is pushing steadily forward. That’s the word from a new AOL report; meanwhile, a new video platform will give brands more mobile options.
First, AerServ and Telerik have partnered for the AerServ Plugin. The new release is integrated within Telerik’s Verified Plugins Marketplace and offers mobile video ad mediation. Through the platform video brands can access banner, full screen interstitials, pre-roll, reward video and VPAID formats through a single plugin.
Meanwhile, the mobile video space is showing strong growth. According to the new AOL State of the Video Industry Report mobile video ad spending has increased nearly 20% since 2014 with most brands using programmatic video (91%). AOL’s research indicates more than three-quarters (88%) of publishers are now offering programmatic video options.
