The mobile video space is showing strong growth. According to the new AOL State of the Video Industry Report mobile video ad spending has increased nearly 20% since 2014 with most brands using programmatic video (91%). AOL’s research indicates more than three-quarters (88%) of publishers are now offering programmatic video options.

Other interesting findings from AOL include:

• While TV ad growth has slowed, AOL believes more brands are pushing those budget dollars into mobile video
• Programmatic inventory increased 37% from Q3 2013 to Q3 2014
• AOL expects 41% of TV buyers to try programmatic video in the next year
• 30% of video budgets are geared to branded video
